The Community Meal is served six nights a week, Sunday to Friday, from 5:15 to 6:30. In 2007, meals were served on 299 nights to 100,341 people for an average of 336 per day. Hundreds of guests gather each evening to share a meal and companionship with each other.

To be added to the "Good News" newsletter mailing list, click here and email us your name and address. 85 sponsor groups prepare, transport and serve the meals. Most groups serve on a monthly basis. Some have contributed food and service since the Community Meal's beginning in 1970. Hundreds of donors provide food & monetary donations. 10-15 daily volunteers serve beverages, work in the kitchen, clean tables & chairs, & performing a variety of tasks.
